It's been months I spent a lot of time learning to understand about self-development and finally I found a surprising answer how not it turns out that self-development does not come from beautiful and precious moments, and the truth is self-development is obtained from a process by eliminating habits and beliefs. and focus on adopting a new habit or skill, and if we invest a lot of time we will eventually get the self-improvement we hope for.
As Will Durrant said "We are what we often do, so excellence is not the result of action but of habit".
The right habits for the adjustments we make, we can be sure that our lives will automatically change even in a very short period of time, all the little things or old habits that run in life we have changed, and when all these things are collected then will be something big and they will definitely turn us into a new person.
In the last two years I have done a lot of small things in life, starting from old ways of thinking changing to new ways of thinking, from perfunctory ways of working to love of work and when I put them together the results are truly amazing, if you compare the five previous years to now many things have changed in life when i feel it.
Now let's go back to our core topic of "habits," hopefully we can get something out of our discussion.
In living our new habits, sometimes we are often driven by beliefs, desires and ambitions, but strangely sometimes we feel at a crossroads that makes our brains have a thousand question marks, and the question that most often arises when in that position is "Am I Should I keep going on track or should I go back a step back in hopes of returning to a state of calm and peace?", actually this is a difficult position that anyone who has ever stumbled into a new habit must face.
In this case we can say that we are someone who quickly decides to devote to a particular job or routine, but it will not last so long, at least 3 or 6 months, after that we will definitely look for loopholes to find something else or something else. skills, because our position already believes that new skills are important and very important to be pursued, that way excellence can be obtained.
Actually because this is what makes us often at crossroads, sometimes we even feel like we are alone there, deep feelings of sadness, feelings of anxiety, hoping for a miracle to come, hoping to find someone who has the same mindset, along the way we will feel such a thing.
To give hope to someone hoping to find a way out, I would agree more with the opinion of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib "I have felt all the pain in life, and the most painful thing is to depend on humans", so when we are at a crossroads and hope to get someone then we have to stop our thoughts like that, because hoping for someone we will actually torture ourselves, so the best solution is to keep believing in our own abilities and look forward to walking slowly or as fast as possible and it will be much better .
My valuable experience when I was in college, I was a student who got a "C" for a statistics course, for me the course was very difficult plus I didn't like calculations, but I studied in a department that was filled with it's a matter of calculation, so avoiding the course is a strange solution, so every day I always ask myself "What's wrong with me?", Finally I found the answer yes it's because I don't love the course, after changing my old thinking habits I ended up getting a "B" for the course.
It can be concluded that changing old habits is the best step we must take in reaching a better future, if we still rely on the old ways then we will be left far behind and very backward.
We are the right time for all of us me and you to try on new habits and skills, hopefully in this way we can all move forward brilliantly, regardless of who you are from wherever you are, turning habits into obligations if you think and hope to get a better life than yesterday two days ago and years before.
And the most important thing is that when facing difficulties in a new pattern of life, patience and belief are strong foundations that must be maintained, even though we are at a crossroads filled with dense forests, we remain optimistic to move on, no matter what cynical opinions are due to life. we are ours not someone else's like the story of slaves 10 centuries ago.
Freeing yourself is by habit, if you get used to something that makes us comfortable then we will get a comfortable life, whatever your current habits are then 10 years from now you will be like that, reaping what you reap, inhaling what you let go.
