Do it because you love it.
This should apply to all walks of life. If it doesn't add to your life in one way or another then why do you do it?
I work for the money but i don't work seven days a week. That might get me more money but it won't add to my life. It will take away from it.
The hours that i do work add to my life as it allows me to have a roof over my head and money in the pocket for other fun activities.
If i didn't need the money then i wouldn't be working in construction. I would be gaming for a living or running an animal shelter. Maybe a sports writer.
Something that i would love doing every single day. There are very few jobs that give people that sense of satisfaction on a daily basis and the ones that do are not always within our reach.
That's why a place like hive is such an abnormality in the online world.
A place with no barriers to entry. Where you can earn money.
Where you can game, write, code, consume content and be rewarded.
Even at that it's not for everybody as there are lots of people out there who would hate sitting in front of their phone or computer to earn some money.
But for those of us who like doing these things it's a unique opportunity to be rewarded for what we love doing. For our passions or hobbies. You won't find that in many other places.
I've always loved writing. Since i was young and in school i experimented with writing short stories and other content.
I have books of old writing that i used to scribble in the back of the classroom instead of the real work.
It was a hobby and a passion.
There is a grind to building a presence on any social media but writing isn't part of it for me.
Cross posting, commenting, building connections are the part that i find a lot more tedious but the writing is always fun.
It's just hard to find enough time to delve into every area that i would like to.
Life tends to get in the way most of the time when i would like to discuss more posts, try to write a full scale book and deep dive into other crypto projects.
Someday maybe but for now just getting a few words out onto the screen is enough.
